7 am Greet each morning on one of Martha’s Vineyard’s many beautiful beaches with personal trainer Sharon Strimling. We will explore a variety of exercise techniques for different goals, all supported by the latest research in health and fitness.

8:30 am After your workout Raw Chef and Author Stacy Stowers’ will show you how to make her famous morning “Happy Shake” – a green smoothie you will swear is chocolate soft-serve ice cream, but leaves you feeling satisfied, fortified and ready for the day!

10 am Walk to State Beach for morning stretches and beach side meditation.

11:30 am Stacy and Sharon answer your questions about nutrition and exercise and show you how to prepare a mouth watering, raw lunch with ingredients sourced from local farms.

1 pm  A raw meal you will be able to recreate at home, with your own author signed copy of Eat Raw Not Cooked.

After lunch the afternoons and evenings are yours to nap, beach or explore the island. A full time Martha’s Vineyard resident for decades, Sharon is your insider tour guide who knows the best beaches, restaurants, farms, events, hikes, shopping, sunset vistas and island traditions.

At night you can dine at one of our many restaurants, dance to live music, watch a sunset, or stroll home to sleep soundly and rest up

for another health-filled island day.

And at retreat’s end, an island style celebration!

We will round out our Raw Food & Fitness Retreat with an island tradition. Come to Menemsha and restaurant-hop all the delectable and fresh offerings from our local fishing village’s take-out beach shacks.

We will gather on the beach picnic-style, joining other island vacationers and residents alike, to celebrate the beauty of Menemsha’s sunset.

Prior to your retreat

In the month before you arrive on Martha’s Vineyard, we will be in contact to better understand your food, fitness and lifestyle challenges, as well as strengths.  For example, do you need more kale or do you need more quiet? Do you need more muscle or do you also need more motivation? Through pre-retreat intakes with Stacy and Sharon we will collaborate to create a retreat just right for you.

Once you are back home

Each participant will receive two complimentary post-retreat private consultations, one with Stacy Stowers and one with Sharon Strimling.  In each session, you will have time to share your progress with us, ask us questions and learn how you can continue to receive support in food and fitness moving forward. We can assist you in getting back on track if you have lost  momentum, or in taking your wellness to the next level.
